This is a profile of me, done by a PRC Chinese artist craft man who did this protrait by cutting a piece of paper while I was standing. Courtesy of a friend Janet of Sungei Wang Plaza in 1979 when I was 40 years old. Today 17.8.2021 is my 82nd Birthday Alhamdulliah.

Yesterday 17th August 2020 was my 81st birthday. I Was born on 17.8.1939 in Kuantan, in the state of Pahang. At that time Kuantan boast of having an international Port on the east coast of Malaya. Ships from China and Australia  ply this port. I grew up when the country was occupied by the Japanese that rule the country from 1941 to 1945.  In 1946 I starts schooling at the Malay school there. Kuantan been a coastal township is near to the pristine beaches thus I was expose to the sea at an early age. I soon felt in love with the sea and the nature surrounding in. Spend my childhood swimming and camping  near the beach of Teluk Cempedak was a norm. Soon going to the beach and enjoying the sea became an extension of myself. Till these days I would find the time to enjoy the sea. Alhamdulillah I have been blessed to be as healthy to enjoy life as it goes.  Have a nice day.

I was born in Kuantan in the state of Pahang on August 17, 1939, a period during the colonial era. Thus this Saturday August 17, 2019  I am 80 years old. The kids had arranged a Birthday Party at our eldest daughter's house nearby. So we all gather there during lunch time; surrounded with the loved one who are around that day and had sort of a family celebration with Birthday cake and the special Nasi Kunyit [Yellow Glutinous Rice] that I had requested my spouse to make for this special occasion. In those days Nasi Kunyit is always cook and served at a special occasion. It a tradition that we have had for thousands of years. So it was only appropriate that I had this done when I reach my eightieth birthday. Above is a  photo of my wife and me on that auspicious day at our daughter's house. A wonderful moment in my life indeed.  Have a nice day.

March 7, 2018 is the 78th birthday of my wife. The kids and grandkids decided to celebrate her birthday. It was done at our eldest daughter Ojie's house nearby. Here are some images of the special family occasion the evening of that special day. It does tell a story of love. Have a nice day.

Good Morning folks. Woke up to a beautiful day in August 2017. Born on August 17, 1939 Alhamdulillah I am 78 years old today and kicking. Thanks to my wonderful soulmate Asmah Abdul Rahman of 55 years and counting who have been with me during the up and down during my life journey I am forever grateful for a wonderful family life. Blessed with three wonderful daughters, five grandchildren, a son in law and two grandsons in law, making me one happy Grandpa; they too give me so much of their precious times in my golden years. Thanks to the many relatives and friends in the virtual world and the physical world my life has been as colorful as well. To those few relatives and friends [you know who you are] who give me your precious time to talk to me or be with me from time to time I am grateful. Thanks folks for contributing in making my life so colorful.  Have a nice day

Today is my wife Asmah's Birthday.  It her 77th.  Happy Birthday dear.  A bouquet of Roses for her.   Have a nice day.

During my times as kid growing up no one talk about Birthday. No Party, no Greeting card, no Birthday wishes. Everyday is a normal day. Life goes on as usual until we ourselves start a family. We had birthday party for our kids. Now in our golden years it the kids and grand kids that throws party on our birthdays. Such a wonderful feeling.
