Macro shot...

I just got a new cellphone and it can do macro photography. Here is among my first try. Have a nice day.

A Macro shot...

As I had said in my earlier posting on the function of the EFM  11-22 lens it could do Macro too. So I tried and found it to be one easy shot to take. Above is a shot that I  took a few days ago in my little garden. I edited it and voila it turned out to be one good image.   Have a nice day.

Of Macro Photography....

I love to do Macro Photography. It the way to get the best of flowers and small insects. By using the Micro lens we get to get a closer looks of flowers or small insets which we would not otherwise be able to see. Above are two shots that I took recently  of flowers near my house. The top one I  use the latest Canon Micro lens the Macro 28 mm and the one below it I use the 200 mm lens on the EOS M 5. Enjoy it folks much as I had enjoyed taking it..  Have a nice day.

Of Macro Photography...

Well I have been enjoying photography and recently have bought a new Macro Lens for my Mirrorless Camera the EOS M series. Now with the new Macro Lens I could easily do more Macro Photography. Before getting this new lens I was using my 200 mm lens which also provides means of taking a Macro Photography at a distance from far away or at least 1 meter away. Here is an image of a shot that I took using EOS Mirrorless camera using the 200 mm lens. Enjoy it folks. Have a nice day.

The Mirrorless Camera...

Yesterday April 24 I decided to move forward in photography, a hobby of mind. I invested on the latest camera; the Mirrorless Camera. Mirrorless camera with interchange lens is actually the DSLR that have been reduced in size by removing the mirror in the DSLR. Without the mirrors that reflect the images the new SLR has been reduced in size and not bulky like the DSLR. It at the same time is much lighter than the DSLR. It could easily replaced the DSLR for a real adventure into real  photography. After looking and reviewing all the Mirrorless cameras on the market I decided to purchased the Canon EOS M10. Above is my first attempt taking a closeup of object using the camera. It does look great and I am learning the best way to get better images as I move on in the world of Mirrorless Camera.  Have a nice day.

Food cook using the Microwave Oven...

I believe all of us love to enjoy our food. When we see the foods it is our eyes that taste it first follow by our nose. Only then that we taste it by our mouth. If the food we are eating taste good in our mouth we wound continue to eat it and enjoy it. Above is a bowl of freshly steamed fish that is done using the microwave oven. From our experience it is much easier to steam fish in the microwave oven than the conventional way using the steamer. There are lots of work when one use the steamer; from boiling the water to create the steam using multilayer steamer pots require lots of works. It is much simpler to use the Microwave oven. When using the microwave oven one just had to use a container that is microwave safe. Put the fish in the container with whatever garnishing in it and cling-wrapped it tight. Then put it in the microwave oven and cook it for between 6 to 8 minutes [depend on the type of Microwave oven you are using]. The fish above was done in our microwave ov...

Bottle-Brush Flower..

In photography we learn all the times. Its an art that continue to evolve as we move on with new equipments and knowledge. In the past before the coming of the Digital Camera we are restricted to taking the maximum of 36 image with a roll of film thus we are careful and selective to take photo because it costly to take more. Today with the Digital Camera we can take as many photo as possible limit only with the memory with had on the card. It is amazing how the evolution of picture taking has gone through in the last 25 years. We learn new technique of how to get a good picture. Two years ago I bought a new Telescopic lens which could be converted into a Micro Lens with just a switch for doing Macro Photography. I did not know that it was possible to do Macro Photography with a telescopic lens not until a friend show me of how he managed to get a close-up of objects that is at a distance with his telescopic lens. I had been doing Macro Photography with my Micro Lens and the result ...

Of Photography...

I have always love photography but was unable to do so before since photography is an expensive hobby. So when I retired and have some money to spend on my hobby I took to photography seriously.  Learning to do a better job along the way. It not just snap and go thing. It need thinking and know what to see through the lens of the camera. One get to see more through the lens. Without the camera we only see scenes in general and it only through the lens that we can focus on that single scene. In Macro Photography we see more which we otherwise w ould not notice with the normal lens. My  FB friend Teh Lian Chye translate what he see and draw it which to me is not possible since I do not have the eyes and hand of an artist like him. Since I love nature and things of beauty I took to photography to represent what I saw and enjoy doing it. About is an image of the fishpond at my patio taken using the micro-lens; that in photography is call Macro Photography.   ...
