Artwork by the Little Crabs...

Nature has got so much to offer if only we care to look especially so with the camera. With the camera we can really look close-up and appreciate more of those beautiful things that are happening in front of our eyes. The other day while holidaying in Port Dickson I took this image one morning while walking at the beach. It what the little crabs have been doing all morning looking for foods. In the process it creates sort of a artwork that looks so beautiful. When I was growing up in Kuantan a small town beside the sea on the east coast I always watch those little crabs in the early days of the morning doing their daily chores. At time there are hundreds of it running around. When disturb it would run into its holes, then would be out again doing the same things; creating those beautiful works of art. I Loved watching it it and here I am sharing what I saw that morning in Port Dickson; the artworks of those little crabs in the early morning before the tide is up again. Once the tide comes all would be washed away but as usual with nature the next morning it would repeat itself just like the days before. Amazing indeed what nature had to offer if only we care to look and appreciate it.

Have a nice day.

I saw these patches of beautiful and intricate sand art in the beach in front of Bayu Beach Resort in Port Dickson while holidaying with my wife and some relatives there about 3 weeks ago.

No one patch is the same appearance. Some patches look like flowering plants while others look like fern leaves. What is common is that in each patch there is always a furrow leading to a tiny hole in the sand.

We waited in vain to find out what were inside those holes and whatever made those holes to crawl out into the surface.

Allen Ng, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on he subject of this posting. Well you take the trouble to look and you did enjoy it. Some folks would just skip it and move on.

As I had said there are much that nature offered us if only we care to look. I grew up in Kuantan and the beach was my playground. So I always watch the little crabs in the early part of the morning. At time thousand of it running around and digging holes and in the process making those beautiful intricate patterns. Most of the crab are red in colour and it does create a colourful scene against the dark sand of the beach.

Thanks and Have a nice day.

Halwa Maskat...

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
