It the end of January 2016 and the weather is getting  hotter. Except for some drizzle it has  not  really rain for a week already. It would be good if there is a downpour. It would cool the weather a bit and at the same time the plants would get water to continue to grow well.  Well folks the weather is always like this at this time of the year. We have to accept that the weather pattern has changed over times. There are news that we might get some cold spell this year. That would be a welcome news for us here in the tropic. Anyway it alright since we here are used to this kind of weather. With that we have summer all throughout the year. I have no complain and enjoying life as it is.  Have a nice day folks.

Above is an Asam Pedas dish that my spouse prepared today for lunch. It one of my favorite to go with a steamy white rice. This time the fish is Ikan Merah or Red Snapper. It taste real good. Tasty as usual and I did enjoyed my lunch today. Asam Pedas is a traditional Malay dish that at one time is only served in Malay houses but now its has gone places.  It is now even served in posh restaurant. Let me explain; Asam mean Sour and Pedas mean Hot as in Chilly Hot.  It is these combination that made it so good.  Have a nice day.

These breakfast called " The Kelate Flying Breakfast " was prepared in Kota Bharu in the State of Kelantan. It was flown to the Kelang Valley in the early morning and we get to enjoy it in the  comfort of our home in Ampang Jaya, Selangor this morning. Amazing isn't it.   Have a nice day.

We all love foods and to me it has to be special for I love home-cooked foods.  From time to time we would go out to our favorite restaurants to enjoy that special food served there. This one I am talking is a Kopitiam call Shyet-Li at the GE Mall at Jalan Ampang. Just a ten minutes drive from our place. The GE Mall is an upmarket mall where there are not that many shops or restaurants. The few restaurants that are there  really served good food that we like. So it became one of the place that we would frequent from time to time to just enjoy restaurant foods.  Above are foods and drinks that I enjoyed  from time to time when we are there.   Have a nice day.

  They say flower is the keeper of our joys. Yes indeed folks. We are always happy to see flowers. Above is an Orchid that bloom once in a blue moon in our backyard garden. When it bloom it would last for a few days and it does made everyone who see it happy.  Enjoy it folks. Have a nice day.

Nona is Custard Apple.  Well as  I had blog before I love this fruits and because of it I plant the tree at the backyard garden. It grows well  and now we get to enjoy the fruits  all the times. And because we tend to  it well  it bears good quality fruits. Above is one of the fruits that I had for dessert today. Nice.   Have a nice day.
