E-hailing is now my mode of transport going into the city. Mostly to and fro my home in Ampang Jaya to KLCC or Nu Sentral/KL Sentral, both my favourites Lepak place. E-hailing is God send, you just touch the apps on your smartphone and it done. I usually sit on the front seat where I get to chat with the Driver. Unlike the traditional taxi E-hailing drivers are a class of its own. They may be Engineers or of other professions thus chatting with most of them are interesting. Another aspect they are more polite and it does made the ride comfortable. Those who works full-time does made good money and the part- timers are mostly just want an extra buck and enjoy talking to people. Today on the way back the young driver told me he is from Ipoh and he came to Kuala Lumpur to make money to maintains his family. He goes back to Ipoh to be with his family once a week. I was at KL Sentral this morning and found there are so much changes there.That mean I have not explore it for some times in the past years. I went to meet a friend and after that explore the place to get more information of the train services especially the ETS [Electric Train Service]. I have travel the ETS up to Ipoh when it first started and found it fast and comfortable to travel between cities. I may do it again in the near future. As usual that place was thronged with folks on the move.  It all start when a FB friend Wan Izzuddin posted in his wall that he would be coming to KL after a trip to Bangkok. Since I have not met him in person I thought this would be an opportunity to meet and get to know each other. I then send a note on Messenger of FB asking whether he would like to meet.         It was a beautiful Monday. I decided to go and Lepak [while the time away] at KLCC. Took the Grab service and in no time I got to the front of the KLCC. It just cost me RM10.00 for the fare and a good chat with the young driver of the Grab Taxi Service. Indeed, a new way of traveling especially in the city, getting from A to been B became so easy and a pleasure by the Grab or Uber taxi service. A new system to beat the traditional taxi service which have not really improved since times. With the services provided by Grab or Uber the traditional taxi service is having a hard time with the competition with Grab and Uber; folk who want a no fuss service getting from A to B.
