The E-hailing service...

E-hailing is now my mode of transport going into the city. Mostly to and fro my home in Ampang Jaya to KLCC or Nu Sentral/KL Sentral, both my favourites Lepak place. E-hailing is God send, you just touch the apps on your smartphone and it done. I usually sit on the front seat where I get to chat with the Driver. Unlike the traditional taxi E-hailing drivers are a class of its own. They may be Engineers or of other professions thus chatting with most of them are interesting. Another aspect they are more polite and it does made the ride comfortable. Those who works full-time does made good money and the part- timers are mostly just want an extra buck and enjoy talking to people. Today on the way back the young driver told me he is from Ipoh and he came to Kuala Lumpur to make money to maintains his family. He goes back to Ipoh to be with his family once a week. While here to saved money he just sleep in his car at a safe place and use the public washroom to bathe and change clothing to start the day. To me he is just another homeless in the city making a living the way he know best. Most of the times I always give extra beside the agreed fare. For now two of my favourite E-hailing service that I use are MyCar and Grab.  Well folks this is my two cents on this subject.

Have a nice day.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
