At the Wet Market.....

Today is the second day of Fasting during the month of Ramadan. This morning I got the driver to go to the Datuk Keramat Wet Market to get the Fish and Seafood as well Chicken and Meat. Normally I would go with him but because of the CMO only one person allows to be in the car  as been ordered by the government. Last week the Wet-market was closed because the Wholesale at Selayang was closed for cleaning, part of containing the spread of the Covid 19 virus. Today being a Saturday it was packed with folks trying to buy for the use during the Ramadan. He managed to get whatever I had written on the list except fresh meat. When he got home with the goods I had first to get rid of all plastic bags so as to avoid any containment or infected and put it in another containers before taking it to the kitchen for cleaning. It sort of a new normal during the period of Covid 19 CMO in the country. After cleaning I help my spouse to packed it in batches and put it all in the freezer. After getting it all done I went to take my bath and then went to have a short rest and then a nap. After that  did a little of TV watching and then went to the Serambi to while the time away. While there I managed to finished a book that I was reading. A good book indeed. Soon it starts to rain as it often is at this time of the year. It kept the Serambi cool. And then I thought of blogging, thus this posting. [ While trying to write this I found there is a new formatting which is different than before. I am trying to get use to it thus it takes longer time to write this posting. Later on the old format came back. Happy and I could easily post this.] I do hope the folks at Blogger.com would keep the old format which is much easier to write and post.

Have a nice day folks.

Halwa Maskat...

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
