A beautiful day in February...

It was a beautiful day in February. Since it a Saturday we decided to go for lunch at the KLCC. It is just a  five minutes ride from our home in Ampang Jaya.  While at the second level of the building and walking toward the food-court I  snap this image of the garden outside,  enclaves by tall buildings as can be seen in this photograph.  Have a nice day.

What A Wonderful Day...

Folks let me relate of a wonderful happening to me at the Datuk Keramat Wet Market  one morning a few weeks ago; my first visit there after six months. The Datuk Keramat Wet Market is a market where I get my supply of Fish, Poultry, Meat and Fresh Vegetable for the last thirty years. Since my immobility because of sickness I was not able to go there. Now that I am back  and a bit healthy my spouse asks me to get a few items at the market and since I still could not drive the car that I to take get the driver to drive me there. At 9.30am on that day I went to the market and on arrival at the market the driver insisted that he follow me along into the market. Well, with him by my sight I straight away went to look for the items to buy and order what I wanted. What surprised me most as I walk along that all the vendors that I had interact in this market at least once in two weeks for all the year before of my immobility, was surprise and happy to see me there; asking why...

Ikan Cencaru or Jacket Fish...

This fish is call Cencaru or Jacket Fish and is only found in the  tropical sea. It  is one of the tasty fish if done the correct way. The fish has a hard skin and when preparing for  grilling, frying or roasting it should be kept as it it. After cleaning the fish should be slit open at the back; just before the head and  the  tail.  Prepare a concoction of sweet, sour and hot chilly thick sauce and put it into the fish from the  opening on the back. Then you could fry it or grilled or roast it in an oven.  It best taken with steamy White Rice or just as it is.  I love enjoying it with steamy white rice.  Have a nice day.

The Little Bali...

I love gardening and because of space constrain I have just a small plot that I call my Little Garden. It is just on one end of my patio in front of our house. It has all the greens that I had planted over the years. From time to time I would rearranged the decoration in  the garden and above is the most recent that I did to the garden. It does add at touch of Bali to it. Above  is an image of it.  Have a nice day.

Of Belimbing Buloh..

I have grown a Blimbing Buloh tree in front of my house. The reason is that the fruits is not that easy to get in the market. So to have an all round supply of this exotic tropical fruits I decided to plant the tree. Now from time to time the tree would bears plenty of fruits. This fruit is too sour to be eaten raw. It is great as an add-on to Sambal Belacan as well  when  cooking other dishes. It enhanced  the flavor of whatever dishes that this fruits is add.  Above is a Sambal Tumis Telor [Eggs] that  my spouse have added the fruits. It really taste great. I did enjoyed  my lunch of  Steamy white rice with it. It delicious.    Have a nice day.
