Through the lens of the Camera....

It was a beautiful Sunday. The weather was nice and cool. I walk out of the gate of my house and looking up saw the moon up above. It was a three-quarter moon and look magnificent indeed.  I thought that it would be great to get a shot of that moon at this early hours of the morning; just after eight. I went up the house to take my camera and put on the telephoto lens that I need to get a good shot of that moon. I then went out again and on looking I could not see the moon as it has been hidden by the clouds. In photography, it like that; timing and opportunity. Anyway, it is still there behind the clouds. I then took a walk and look at the flowers that I had planted across the road in front of the house.

The White Hibiscus was blooming and at this early hours of the morning it has yet to open fully. It was nice to get to see the white buds start to open as the light of the morning sun shine of it. I then took some photos of the flowers first with the telephoto lens and then later the wide-angle lens. I kept taking more picture of the flowers as it starts to bloom fully. It was indeed a beautiful sight to watch nature at its best. I was mesmerized at the beauty of that white hibiscus and in that moments lost touch of times.

I then look up and saw the moon again. With the telephoto lens still attached to the camera I then took a few shots of the moon. It was not that easy but I did get a few good shots.

I am sharing it here the beautiful photos of the White Hibiscus and the Moon that I took on that beautiful Sunday morning. Much as I had enjoyed taking the images, I believe folks would enjoy it too.

Have a nice day.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
