The plane, the plane...

It was a gorgeous morning. The sky was blue. Suddenly I saw a plane passes by up above leaving  a trail of clouds as it move on toward it's destination, perhaps Kota Bharu in Kelantan. I decides to take a picture of it as it move. Had I go and get my camera it may not be there any longer so I decided to take a snap using my cellphone.  By the time I got to taking a few shots it has moved further. Anyway I managed to capture a good image of that passing jetliner. Had I wait and lost a second that plane would have gone further and would not be possible to take a photo, what with the cellphone! Anyway luck was on my side and I managed to take a relatively good photography of that passing jet. Happy I edited the image and sharing it here for all to enjoy.

Have a nice day.

Syaz Rahim, thanks for the visit and sharing your thoughts on the subject of this posting. Yes I learned in photography that opportunity and timing is the essence of getting a good image. That is why when I go for a photography trip I always have two or more cameras, each with a different lens so as to allows me to go into action whenever the opportunity arises. In this case that cellphone did the job. Happy.

Have a nice day.

I often wonder what causes the white streak behind the plane as they are obviously not the smoke from the engine as they are colorless.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
