Of MCO and the Haircut.....

A blogger wrote that he just got a haircut. Ha ha! at least he got himself a haircut. It seem he got his son to cut his hair using a new hair trimming tool bought online. Barber shop has yet to be allows to operate during this MCO. The last time I got myself a haircut is about three months ago because of the MCO and my hair is getting longer by days. It no longer felt comfortable although I do sport long hair during the period youth of yesteryear but now I do really need a haircut. I  do hope the authority would allows for the haircut folks to start business so that I could get a decent hair do. With the unlikelihood of the MCO ceased and instead may be extended my spouse suggested that I should just go Botak [bald] and then let it grows as we move on. I may do just that but I have been thinking of an option. I can still get a good haircut when it start operating but by going to the Woman Hair Salon to get the cut. I have done that before and the woman do cut as good. The reason of going to the Salon is that the atmosphere in there is more spacious and very little touching done thus less contact,  part of the Social Distining during this trying time of the Convid 19 pandemic. Well life is like that; we need to adept!

Have a nice day.

So the first flag I saw was the Japanese flag, the white flag with the red circle in the centre. With the return of the British authority the Union Jack was again flown everywhere. With the defeat of the Japanese and the return of the British authority in Malaya the school was reopened. Except for the Japanese school all other schools was closed during the Japanese occupation. In January 1946 I start schooling. I remember my father took me to Sekolah Melayu Teruntun at Jalan Gambut in Kuantan. From the shop-house at Wall Street [now Jalan Mahkota] where we live we walk across the Padang, then follow the path across the grassland behind the Kuantan District Office to the school. The school is across the road with a few Pokok Kelapa Bali planted in front near the roadside. Kelapa Bali is what the Oil Palm is now known. It was at the school tha...
