The 3rd February 2022 is our 60th Anniversary. We got married on the 3rd February 1962. It all begin when a friend's Mokhtar who works at the Cold storage store that is almost opposite the Kuantan Telecom exchange where most girls working at the exchange would go there to buy things. They all eventually get to know the young man Mokhtar maning the store. So Mokhtar in a way knew them all. One fine evening in November 1961 Mokhtar suggests that we go and visit one of the girl who share housing at the Transit quarters nearby. I had a scooter at that time and together we went to the house. It was at this house that I was introduced to Asmah. At that time I thought meeting her was just like knowing another girl during my bachelor days. But destiny soon took us to another level of friendships, as we move along in life. One thing let to another and in less than three months after our first meeting, on the 3rd of February 1962 we got married at her brother in law's house in Temerloh. Our marriage blessed us with three wonderful daughters, then five grandchildren and now three great grandchildren. Alhamdulillah.
