Of Stalls @ KLCC...

It was a cool day so I decides to take a drive to KLCC, my favorite lepak place. It is just a five minutes’ drive away from my home. After parking my car at the basement took the lift to Level C. The firsts thing one see at this level are the many stalls in the center of the concourse selling all kinds of goods. With artistically displayed the good turns the stalls into a colorful work of art. Nice to look and I believe it does attract buyer too. I snap some images as I walk from one corner of the concourse to the other. The purpose of my visit today after a lapse of months was to go to the Kinokuniya Bookstore at Level four to see whether there are books that would add to my reading collection. After window-shop as well looking for hat at a few outlets and did not  find any that I like at level C and G I took the lift to level four and went into the bookstore. There were already many people looking for books and a few seen queuing to makes payments at the Cashier counter. I browse along and soon found a book to my liking, paid for it and went out to get some other things along the way. Today the mall was not that crowded as it normally is at this hours of the day. Probably because of the Fasting month and that the school holiday is over. After a while decided to buy some traditional cake at La Cucur and went home. It was a pleasant short visit to the mall. Above are some images of the stall at the concourse.

Have a nice day.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
