Street Photography; The Underground pathway...

There are not many underground pathways in the city of KL. Above is one which connect the Suria KLCC mall to the Avenue K, as well the KLCC LRT station. I like this pathway since it always lively with folks crossing both ways. A colourful area indeed. At the Avenue K side there are the machines and booths to get tickets for the train ride from the KLCC LRT station below this level. At time one get to enjoy Busker performing at entrance of Avenue K. I would watch and take pictures of their performance from time to time and of course do give donation for their entertaining performances. Beautiful indeed.

Diastole Cafe

Kuala Lumpur., Yesterday the 9th of March 2024 we were taken by our eldest daughter(Dr.Ruszy) and her husband(Dr.Amin) to go and see the place their new project, a coffee shop is been planned at an outlet in Bandar Tun Razak in Cheras The outlet is called Diastole Cafe and managed by their eldest son Anwar. It is planned to be opened on June 1st 2024 In Sya Allah. Alhamdulillah.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already. The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan. Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
