Covid 19..outbreak...

The outbreak of the virus Covid 19 starts in Wuhan, China some time in January 2020. The original source of this Virus outbreak is yet unknown. The Chinese authority took an unprecedented action by shutting down the movement of the city residents of some 11 millions. It a a complete lock-down with no one leaving and getting into the city. Immediately the Chinese authority act fast and professionally by mobilising all the experts to head to the city to help the already infested as well to stop the spread of the virus to the other part of  the country, as well to the other parts of the world. Soon the virus separate to the other parts of the world including to Malaysia. Since the middle of March 2020 the Malaysian government has introduced a Movement order or the Control Movement Order or CMO making it compulsory for the citizens to stay at home and not leave unless really necessary like getting foods or grocery. The Police and the Army was fully mobilised to enforced the CMO. The enforcement of the CMO starts on the March 18, 2020, first up to March  28  and then extended to April 14. The third phase was just extended till the April 28, 2020.  It looks like Malaysian had to stay indoor for a while until the Health Authority of Malaysia managed to control the spread of the Virus.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
