Of Yesterday-years...

Looking at the old albums I found this photo of the happening in the early sixties. It shows a scene of one of the events during our youth when we were busy organizing events for the young in Kuantan. In those days Youth Clubs were active in the urban area like in the town. This image shows us taking photo just before the annual Youth Club Dinner and Dance that were held at the Kuantan Town Hall. The whole hall was throng with the young both man and woman enjoying themselves in this once a year events. Those were the days folks; such a happy occasion indeed.

Have a nice day.

Pak Idrus, Yes "Those were the days folks; such a happy occasion indeed." Why can't we continue to live those happy days when everyone would not be offended by the slightest thing?

Yes Youth Clubs in those days. I met my wife in the Jaycees Youth Club in Penang. I was one of the founding committee members. My wife's sister was the first President. There we mixed freely and happily with members of all races. Not a problem!

Ok Pak Idrus, I am trying again. This time both postings into one.
1. "Those were the days folks; such a happy occasion indeed." Yes, why can't we have such happy gatherings nowadays without feeling hurt for seemingly trivial things.

2.Youth Clubs very popular those days. I was founder committee member of Jaycees Youth Club in Penang. And later married the sister of the first President. LOL!! Those days we met and played very freely with members of all races. No problem at all. This is because those years, there were no idiotic politicians with little minds.

3. This was my very question I posted whem you first shifted to this new blog. Why did you choose to register a new blog? Just curious.

Halwa Maskat...

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
