Ahad yang Ceria...

1hb Nobember 2020. Pagi tadi hujan lebat. Nikmat alam di hari Ahad yang mulai ini. Bumi basah and suasana menjadi dingin. Nenek tak payah lah siram pokok pokok di kebun kecil nenek dibelakang rumah. Ruang kecil sekangkang kera menjadi tempat Nenek bercucuk tanam sayuran dan herba untuk kegunaan sendiri. Begitulah dia melunangkan masa diwaktu pagi. Didepan Serambi berbumbong atap yang tulus cahaya ada tanaman tumbuhan hijau, kebun bungalah dikatakan, tampa bunga. Kehijauaan sepanjang masa. Bahagian in Atuk yang menguruskan. Memang menjadi kesukaan saya meluangkan masa setiap pagi disini. Kadang kadang lalai berjam jam.

Petang in cuaca kembali panas tetapi nyaman. Selesa untuk duduk diserambi dengan secawan Kopi dihari Ahad yang mulai ini. Begitulah adanya.

Ceria selalu.

Ikan Singgang....

Ikan Singgang is  one traditional Malay dish that is simple to do. Yet it is not only delicious but nutritious as well. Its one dish that you can find in the Malay world, perhaps call by other names, nevertheless it is still Ikan Singgang. It is the creation of our ancestors where fish have always been their main protein source; sort of the wisdom of the old. A wise creation indeed and because of it we still kept enjoying it  I have always love Ikan Singgang especially when Ikan Aya [Tuna fish] is use but it always taste as good even with other fish like Tenggiri or Kerisi. When making this simple dish one herb/spice that is a must is Lengkuas [Galangal] for without it the Singgang is not complete. The above image of Ikan Singgang is made with Ikan Tenggiri. Delicious as usual. Taken with steamy white rice and Budu [Anchovies sauce] or Sambal Belacan [Shrimp sauce] it is heaven already.  I posted that image on Facebook and below are two informative comments made there by two of

The Sunrise at Teluk Cempedak...

We were in Kuantan for a short holiday. As usual I always take the time to watch the sunrise at Teluk Cempedak; a beach that I call my own. I grew up playing on that sandy beach from the age of seven years old and I felt in love with the sea. So going to that beach is a ritual that I never missed to do whenever I am in Kuantan.  Early that Saturday morning of September 3, 2016 I woke early and with my nephew driving we left for the beach at around 6.30am. According to the data I had the sun would rise at Teluk Cempedak at 7.01am that morning. When we arrived at the beach there were already others there waiting for the sun to rise. I had brought my latest camera the Canon EOS M10 with me. It is a Mirrorless camera, the new new generation of the DSLR. It is much smaller than the DSLR and have interchangeable lens. As soon as I got there I walk along the beach and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Yonder at the horizon I could see some light as the the sun makes it
